Message To Detractors Regarding Madonna

Comments regarding Madonna in the post “Madonna Injured In Riding Accident” really have went to far and crossed the line. It’s ok to have a point of view regarding an artist and there work. But when someone is seriously injured in an accident that could have very well taken there life. It’s unimaginable that anyone could post such comments on here or any other site. It’s not even something that should be made fun of in any manner. Look what happened to Christopher Reeve, the same could have happened to Madonna or worse. None of us know her as a person. She has children and a family just like the rest of us. Just because you may or may not like her music. Is by no means a reason to wish her harm, or gloat over her being injured. No one deserves such disrespect. I am finding it very hard to find the words to express my disappointment in each and everyone who has said and is saying such inhuman and uncompassionate things. If she had been killed would you still be gloating? Is her life or any other life not precious to you? I am not writing this post to promote or even discuss the great things about Madonna as an artist or a person. I am not writing it to discuss the negative things about her. None of that matters at this point. She as well as anyone else, celebrity or not deserves love and compassion in a time such as this. It could have been me, you, a close friend or a family member. You should think about that before you open your mouth to speak. Or lift a finger to type. Other than this I don’t know what else to say, but I am disappointed that things could go this far. And that people actually lack the compassion for another’s life. Someone they don’t even personally know to beat it all.
