Screaming fans greeted Michael Jackson at Narita airport on Sunday (March 4) near Tokyo as the pop star prepared for a week of VIP events that won’t likely include any singing. The King of Pop shook a few hands of mostly female admirers while making his way through the crowd, which got a bit scary towards the end as there was only ropes holding back a crush of fans several rows deep.
“I just had a few ideas, to do something special for Michael,” Positive Production CEO Broderick Morris said. “It is not time for him to perform yet, so I figured let’s keep his name out there. Let’s do something positive for him.” Watch footage from CBSNews.com below. Check out pictures from WireImage.
