The People reports that Michael Jackson is trying desperately to get on the Live 8 lineup to revive his pop career if he is found not guilty of child molestation charges. “They’ve had more than half a dozen letters from Jacko’s right-hand man about him appearing,” a source revealed. “They discuss how Jackson has been involved in poverty issues in Africa. But organizers won’t entertain the idea.”
