The cocktail of prescription drugs Michael Jackson was taking before his death on Thursday included Demerol, Dilaudid, Vicodin, Soma, Xanax, Zoloft, Paxil, Prilosec and antibiotics to treat a minor infection following his recent skin cancer surgery.
“Jackson’s drug dependency and the events and timings up to the point when he collapsed are a crucial part of the inquiry,” a source close to the Jacksons told The Sun. “They’ll also obviously want to know who gave the last [Demerol] injection — it wouldn’t have been self administered because Michael had a fear of needles.”
