Michael Jackson: Down, But Not Forgotten

In an editorial, UC Irvine New University writes, “For better or for worse, will always be in the limelight. Whether he’s winning his umpteenth Grammy, or being subpoenaed for his indiscretions, he will always be placed far above the rest of the crowd. Some critics say that the recent child molestation allegations against Michael will mark the end of public interest in him—that the public will just stop caring about what he does and what happens to him in the future. They’re wrong.”

One Response to Michael Jackson: Down, But Not Forgotten

We’ll all be curious about Michael Jackson, even in the future. Not because we wonder what he’s going to do next musically, but because he scares our society kind of like a serial killer or a child molester would. No one cares about “his new album” or “his new video”, from now on it’s always going to be about some scandal that makes us talk about him. It will never be about his music again, ever.
