MTV News went to a home of a big Michael Jackson fan to get a feeling how the La Salle University sophomore is coping with the King of Pop’s child molestation allegations. “My heart hit the ground. I lost it completely,” Beverly Brown admitted when she first heard the news. “I flashed back to [the 1993 allegations]. I was shielded because of their nature, but I remember my teacher asking, ‘Where is your hero now? Do you still love him?’ It hurt me so bad; I didn’t know how to deal with it. This time, my work-study bosses came to my room, took me to the counseling center, locked me in a room and wouldn’t let me go anywhere because I was in a really bad way.” Read more.
