Brett Thomas of the Sydney Morning Herald spoke with Jeff Apter, music editor for Rolling Stone magazine, on the recent strange behavior of Michael Jackson and charges of racism on the behalf of Sony executives, which he blames for the disappointing performance of his latest album, ‘Invincible’. “I think Michael Jackson just made a dud album,” he said. “And the label moved on to other priorities. Maybe he felt he wasn’t getting the respect of an artist like Bob Dylan, but it’s a totally different world. We’re talking about a man who’s becoming unhinged, becoming undone.
