The Chicago Sun-Times reports retailers around the country are indicating sales of Michael Jackson’s ‘Number Ones’ was not doing all that well — even before those charges of alleged child molestation were filed against him. “You have to remember, record store orders were far less than they would have been for a Jackson release a decade or more ago,” an industry insider told the paper.”He’s been trending down, so the stocking orders would have been smaller, to begin with.”
