The New York Daily News reports Jermaine Jackson is saying “it’s just a matter of time” before he converts his embattled younger brother to Islam. “He’s reading, he’s studying,” Jermaine, a Muslim convert, told a Discover Islam forum in Bahrain this week.

Indicted By Grand Jury

April 21, 2004 – ABC News reports a grand jury investigating allegations that Michael molested a boy has indicted the pop star. The panel has been meeting in Santa Barbara, California, for 13 days to consider whether there is enough evidence to charge Jackson, 45. The precise charges returned against the singer were not immediately known. The indictment means the grand jury concluded there is enough evidence to believe that Jackson has committed a crime and should face trial.

Selling Pictures With His Kids

April 20, 2004 – Star magazine reports that a rep for Michael is selling “new unpublished and unseen” photos of the singer and his three children “not obscured by any veils or masks” along with a new “intimate” interview. The deal is expected to bring in millions, though the rep insists a “substantial portion” of the dough will be donated to “one or more charities.”
