Michael Jackson: We Almost Lost ‘Thriller’

In an interview obtained by News of the World from the early 1980s, talked about how his most successful album ‘Thriller’ was almost scrapped. “‘Thriller’ sounded so crap. The mixes sucked,” the late King of Pop said bluntly. “When we listened to the whole album, there were tears… I just cried like a baby.”

To resolve the situation, Jackson said, “What we did was, we took a couple days off, came back fresh, cleared our ears out and we mixed two songs a week.”

Hard Rock Hotel Wins Glove Auction

September 7, 2009 – A glove worn by Michael on a tour in Australia has been auctioned off in Melbourne, purchased for $48,000 by the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, where it will be on display. A report from ITN at MSN.com has since been removed.
