Michael Jackson’s Flawed Comeback Is No Thriller

Mike Collett-White of Reuters reports Michael Jackson’s return to the stage on Wednesday at the World Music Awards featured the pop legend performing the chorus line of his charity single ‘We Are The World’ before the sound cut out as he struggled for the high notes. Collett-White said, “The failure by the deposed King of Pop to demonstrate that his voice and confidence are back to anywhere near their best is likely to raise further doubts about his ability to resurrect a career that has been on hold for years.”
