Michael Johns Voted Off ‘American Idol’

'American Idol' fans are shocked over the ouster last night of Michael Johns, a favorite in the competition. NBC's John Larson reported on the news for the 'Today' show, comparing his ouster to season five's Chris Daughtry, with Entertainment Weekly's Dave Karger opining that the early ouster helped Daughtry and implying it could benefit Johns as well.
