You make Mariah fans look crazy.

If you restricted your silliness to Mariah and Madonna posts I would probably let this slide. But if you are going to flame your paranoia on every post on the site, I’ll have some fun showing what an idiot you are. First off, are you aware that what you are encouraging others to do is to become accomplices in a felony? Yes, a felony. It is one thing to organize a boycott of Madonna for a political purpose, to organize others to request Mariah songs at radio stations to strengthen her position relative to Madonna, etc. But when your effort’s sole purpose in to maliciously damage another’s commercial prospects, it is illegal and violates the federal rackateering statutes (RICO). Go ahead and see who else wants to go to jail with you. Now, let’s also address a different question: Why the f*ck do you care what Madonna does? If I remember correctly, Mariah had her best success at a time when Madonna was popular as well. I would think you would be happy to see her do well. It means real singers are coming back in vogue (no pun intended) and the lip syncer’s days are numbered. You keep going on about her 16 number 1 singles…do you think Madonna somehow will magically take them away? She’s doing fine and you need to get a life. As for the Mariah-Beatles comparison, oh please!!! The Beatles were one of the most influentiual recording artists (maybe THE most influential) of all time. They stretched the boundaries constantly. Mariah has an excellent voice but is considered little more than a voice without any shred of originality. She has pretty much spent her career copying far more original singers. Her albums have never gotten good reviews and are always inconsistent. Mariah has used her voice to overcome a great deal of mundane material but she is the first recording artist with astronomical sales to never release a great album. The review of Mimi only cement that image. Yes Mariah has had 16 number 1 singles – but in these days of miniscule singles sales, it isn’t quite as important as when the Beatles had their 20 number 1 singles (yes, 4 more than Mariah) in only 6 1/2 years. They also had 3 others that stalled at number 2 because another Beatles song occupied number 1 and at one point occupied the number 1 through number 5 singles on the Billboard charts – a feat likely never to be duplicated. They also have the record for most albums to sell over 10 million copies in the US alone (RIAA diamond) with 6 albums reaching that total. More importantly, they set a standard for excellence that still influences others. Comparing Mariah to Madonna, a somewhat less stratospheric artist than them, Mariah still falls short. She is admittedly has a superior voice but her inconsistent and unoriginal recordings eliminates her as anything but a commercial force. Madonna, by comparison, has generally gotten good reviews for her recordings which have showed much originality especially for a genre (dance-pop) not known for groundbreaking recordings. Three of her albums even made Rolling Stone’s top 500 of all time. Furthermore, she has influenced the pop culture and other recording artisits in ways Mariah could never accomplish and likely stands as the single most influential recording artist of the last 25 years. So now that you have gotten your dose of reality, please go back and plot your next move against Britney or Christina.

  9. nickstruemissamerica25 says:

yeah I was going to say Michelle isn’t in the public as much as Britney is or christina..when Britney has her baby its going to be all over the newstands..I feel sorry for her child..its always going to be in th epublic eye and not have a normal life..nichelle is lucky shes not that big at least her kid will pretty much grow up normal

  10. Starlet01 says:

I agree, maybe it’s a good thing that Michelle isn’t so popular. >’, ‘Now that I think about it, I feel sorry for Britney’s baby because she/he will always be under so much pressure to be “perfect”. And she/he will always be harshly criticize by the media & the public. And the main reason is because her/his mother is Britney Spears.
