Despite her recording success, Michelle Branch admits she feels as if she still has something to prove. She tells Chuck Myers of Knight Ridder: “I guess one of the reasons why I want to be taken more seriously is that this is what I do, and there’s nothing else that I could imagine ever doing to replace it.”

I don’t see anything wrong in posy sexy BUT I am sure she was induced by Madonna & company to put some “excitement” into her image. I don’t know if she will be taken “more seriously” because of her Maxim photos & interviews but maybe she will sell more CDs?
