Michelle Branch’s father posted an update on her daughter’s official website on Friday. Dad says, “She just called me from Milwaukee and she wants to tell you two things but she has no computer access.” The two things are that she’s on Entertainment Tonight Friday – which has already aired for most of us – and she also made a surprising television viewing recommendation. Tonight’s 20/20 will feature a story on ‘Payola’ in it’s present form and how songs really get played on the radio. Michelle, through her dad said, “It will be very, very informative. I hope you all watch it so we can better understand how the music business works.” It’s interesting for someone that benefits from the practice is actually recommending fans to watch the show.
