Mikalah Gordon Wasn’t Shocked By ‘Idol’ Boot

Mikalah Gordon’s ‘American Idol’ dreams were short-lived when she became the second hopeful to be voted out of the competition on last Thursday’s special results edition of the show. It was her second time in the bottom two, so she told ‘Entertainment Tonight’ it wasn’t a big surprise that she got her walking papers. “I think that everything definitely happens for a reason,” she said. “It wasn’t a shock. It was my time to go, so I made the best of it. I had a fabulous time. America chose a great Top 10.”
