Miley Cyrus talked with Z100 about the pictures floating around the internet that show the 15-year-old almost kissing a female friend while sharing a piece of candy. When asked about reaction to the photos, the ‘Hannah Montana’ star didn’t duck the controversy. “They’re nothing bad! At first, I was really upset,” she admitted. “It really sucks. [The girl in the pictures] was a friend of mine that’s a normal girl. [Now] she has to go to school and deal with this crap. It’s two girls at a sleepover, and if all of a sudden that’s bad, then what is the world coming to?”
Miley added, “What I decided before I came out to LA and started working was the minute I didn’t have fun was the minute I go home. I don’t want to go home, and I don’t want to not do what I do, because I love it, but this… it’s Satan attacking. It’s not something I’m going to let slide. I’m really upset about it, ’cause it was, like, not even a big deal.”
The teen also discussed her current tour, having a fan base of not just kids, where she got her name from, the “insane” girl fans of the Jonas Brothers and how she’s seen the guys grow, an upcoming 3-D movie featuring Miley and the Jonas Brothers concert footage and backstage drama coming out February 1st, and doing ‘New Year’s Rockin Eve’ in Times Square.
