Miley Cyrus: I May Or May Not Be Dating Justin Gaston
Miley Cyrus spoke with Ryan Seacrest of KIIS FM in Los Angeles on Thursday (October 23), where the soon to be 16-year-old ‘Hannah Montana’ star was coy when asked if she’s dating 20-year-old model Justin Gaston.
“Maybe, maybe not,” Miley said. “Right now, everything is, like, really good. I haven’t really been answering the question much just because we’re just really happy with everything and the way everything has worked out. He’s been a really great friend, more than anything. There’s just been a lot going on. I think that everyone started judging us as soon as we started hanging out, but after my last two years, there’s been a lot of things that have happened so I’ve learned just not to judge anyone and just kind of go into our friendship with an open mind and not really worry about the age and everything. Our family is just like whatever happens, happens, and if he’s just nothing more than a really good friend that’s awesome. So, more than anything he’s really helped me move on from a lot of things, and he’s just a really great Christian guy, which is really awesome. He’s gone through stuff and I’ve gone through stuff [in the public eye], that everyone goes through that, and I think it’s really awesome that we kind of have that in common that we can talk about it and we understand.”
But Miley sort of slipped later when Ryan talked about how good looking Justin was, and how he made every other guy look bad. “Well that’s the whole thing hard about dating him,” Miley said, “that it’s like, how if anything every happened, who are you gonna go to after that?”
