TMZ has more on the Miley Cyrus photo that has Asians upset, where the ‘Hannah Montana’ star, her boyfriend Justin Gaston and other Caucasians were pictured squinting or used their fingers to slant their eyes in the presence of an Asian friend.
In wake of her blog posting about the controversy, George Wu, from the Organization of Chinese Americans, said her half-hearted apology wasn’t enough. “The picture is offensive and now this statement is inadequate,” Wu said. “It’s not a real apology. We’re not backing down without a fuller apology.”
The report at MySpace has since been removed.
