With the release of Mariah Carey’s new album ‘Emancipation of Mimi’, Mariah puts to rest any doubts anyone may’ve had about whether or not Mariah still has it. After suffering from an emotional breakdown in 2001, just before the release of her film ‘Glitter’, Mariah’s star has seemed a little tarnished in the eyes of some, in response to the people who think that, Mariah tells The Associated Press: “I feel like that’s over and anybody that deals with that is kind of like living in four-years-ago land,” she says, calling it a “blip of my moment in my career, which has spanned almost half of my life.”
