Simon Saradzhyan of Space.com reports MirCorp president Jeffrey Manber is denying a Russian news report that said Lance Bass’ space flight may fail to materialize. He explained, “It takes weeks and months to complete the paperwork” after a corporate sponsor declares its preparedness to pay for the trip. A Russian space industry source says the Russian negotiating team might be willing to wait for more than one week before deciding whether *NSYNC star gets to make the space flight in late October.
