Supporting The Waifs and George, Missy Higgins toured the country taking her home studio material to larger stages. The transition from isolation to crowds of adoring fans was initially a strange one. “It was really odd at first,” Higgins told Australia’s Beat magazine. “I was so used to writing and playing just for my own ears and then suddenly there were all these other people listening to my music.”
