Missy Higgins Greeted With A Different Vibe At SXSW

Undercover Music caught up with Missy Higgins at SXSW in Austin Texas, where she discussed playing for people who had no idea who she was. “It’s a different kind of vibe,” the Aussie chart-topper admitted. “It is a festival and there are a lot of industry people here and a lot of them don’t know me. They’ve just heard whispers and that is why they have come to the gig. It was good. It went over better than I expected.” The singer was able to perform despite being sick thanks to some medical treatment. “I got a shot of penicillin in my arse,” she admitted. “I feel a lot better, 100% better.”
