Mixed Thoughts About Christina Aguilera’s EMA Hosting Job
Steve Mckenna of The Glasgow Daily Record weighed in on last week’s MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow. He says, “I’ve been to the MTV Awards three times and no matter what the city, it was the same event with just a little local flavor. It was, undoubtedly, a great night for Scotland and our capital and I expect the tourist trade and our credibility will have been boosted. The one thing that wasted the entire event for me was host Christina Aguilera. I thought she did a great job and was slick and professional, but the event was as she warned ‘dirrty’. I love adult entertainment but I also know a name for people who use it to entice young children.”
