Moby Congratulates Obama For Winning Nobel Peace Prize
Moby checked in with fans on his official web site’s blog on Friday (October 9), reacting to news that U.S. President Barack Obama had won the Nobel Peace Prize. Moby writes:
It’s already old news (in that it was announced 6 hours ago…) but President Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Congratulations President Obama!
Of course the right wing Republicans are upset (the same Republicans who cheered when America lost its Olympic bid), putting them in the same camp as Hamas, the Taliban, and al Qaeda, who have all expressed dismay that President Obama has won the Nobel Peace Prize.
It’s a shame that Republican hate is actually turning the Republican party into an anti-American party. But in any case, congratulations President Obama. And President Obama’s acceptance speech was particularly humble and gracious.
