Mom Insists Lizzie’s Not Greedy

Star magazine spoke with the mother of Hilary Duff, who is outraged over the way Disney has treated her daughter. “Disney needs to be more respectful of Hilary,” declares her outraged mother. “My daughter is 15 years old, and I want her to be happy.” The Duffs asked for $4 million for the ‘Lizzie McGuire’ movie sequel – a $3 million raise from Hilary’s pay on the first movie – and Disney met that offer. But Hilary’s mom eventually nixed the deal because she didn’t like the way Disney was treating her daughter.
