Moping Avril Lavigne Can’t Match Fans Enthusiasm

Jay Webb of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reviewed Avril Lavigne’s show at the pakced Fair Park Coliseum. While saying fans were hyped up for the show, he says “she sadly couldn’t match her fans’ enthusiasm.” Webb explained, “Wearing a black tank top and gray pants, Lavigne jumped off a drum riser for the opening ‘Sk8er Boi’ and it was all downhill from there. Even when she managed to muster a fist pump or jumped up and down, it came off as forced. Occasionally she would strap on a guitar, but she strummed it with the same boredom with which she sang and moped around the stage.”
