Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter spoke with Radio 1 about his unlikely solo collaboration with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. “I remember when I was a little kid, my older half sister used to listen to the Crüe the whole time and I remember the song ‘Shout at the Devil’. I was like ‘Oh my God, what is this? I’m so scared’,” Carter said. “I remember seeing the front cover and thinking ‘these guys are so scary!’. Tommy’s a friend of mine, we write music, it’s not rocket science, it’s not that hard. We write whatever comes out, no boundaries, no whatever. That’s the way I live.”
