Mountain Mandy

Mandy Moore checked in with fans on her blog at Myspace on Tuesday (October 24), from an unspecified mountain location, where she’s working on her new album. “Well hello there,” Moore writes. “Just finished dinner and in the studio listening to some guitar overdubs on ‘Extraordinary’ (my favorite song of the moment). Dying to sing. Been in the studio all day, discovering how to accept friends on Myspace. It’s been quite the process. I love the fall. Good gracious. I’ve taken to having my camera by side most of the day to capture all the yumminess. It’s very chilly on top of this mountain, but I’m loving every minute of my stay here. Oh–I’ve seen 4 bears since i arrived!! One was while I was out on a morning hike and the others were seen from the comfort of my car. They’re intimidating but rather cute.” Read more.
