MTV Forces Vanessa Carlton To Cut Bondage Scene From Video

Vanessa Carlton explained to fans that a scene on the end of her new video for ‘Pretty Baby’ was cut on MTV, which premiered the clip today on TRL. “Hey guys, just so you know, MTV banned the true ending of the PB video. The dude is tied to a chair with duct tape over his mouth. That’s why I’m holding tape in the beginning of the video. There’s a ‘no bondage’ rule I suppose. It’s silly, but they wouldn’t play the video unless we took out the tape. Just thought you guys should know what you’re missing. I’m kind of bummed, it’s still cool though.” Maybe that’s why she didn’t phone in or appear to intro the new clip?
