MTV’s Reality Version Of The Princess Bride
Phil Rosenthal of the Chicago Sun-Times weighed in on the premiere episode of ‘Newlyweds’, featuring Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees. Rosenthal writes, “Yep. Simpson, 23, is cute as a button, and–fairly or not–comes across on ‘Newlyweds’ as about as sharp. Like when she wonders aloud about whether she’s eating chicken or tuna because the label on the can said Chicken of the Sea, as her 29-year-old husband rolls his eyes in restrained disbelief.”
