Nadine Coyle Discusses Neil McCafferty Relationship

Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle spoke with The Mirror about her romance with soccer star Neil McCafferty, admitting that these days they are more like friends than lovers. “I still wouldn’t really call him my boyfriend – we’re more friends than anything,” she said. “I don’t see him as much as I’d see a regular boyfriend. He gets on well with my family and when I’m not here he stays with them – he’s still my best friend. I think because I was with him for so long – I was 15 when we met – I didn’t really know what it was like to be on my own. So when I was single I didn’t really like it. There’s too much pressure to meet someone new.”
