Associated Press spoke with NASA space station manager Dianne Murphy who says if Lance Bass can reach a deal with Russian officials to fly to the international space station this fall, he’s welcome to begin training. “We have heard by the grapevine that they have made some progress with getting him signed,” she said. “But we have not gotten that official yet.” NASA is making plans for the *NSYNC star to visit Johnson Space Center in Houston later this month for a full week of training.
