Natasha Bedingfield Reacts To Barack Obama Victory
Natasha Bedingfield checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Wednesday (November 5), reacting to the election of Barack Obama as the 44th U.S. President last night. The British pop singer writes:
It is amazing to be in America at such a historic moment. Most of the people I know in the UK felt Obama was the best choice. It’s a choice that really does effect the rest of the world.
I was up late watching it on TV. The news that Obama won was just the best ever. His speech was inspirational, as all his speeches are. It’s what we need in the world right now.
I was also very touched by McCain’s speech giving his support to the future president – he was gracious.
I am so excited that Obama won, he makes me believe in having hope.
