The Sun’s Something For The Week caught up with Natasha Khan of Bat For Lashes for a Q&A, and asked the 26-year-old Brighton-based singer-songwriter when she first start writing and performing your own music. “Performing came later,” she said. “When I was a teenager I did some embarrassing performances in front of my class, inspired by my angsty teenage obsession with Kurt Cobain.
