Nelly Furtado Aims For Early 2003 Album Release

World Online reports Nelly Furtado has already written much of her new album which she hopes to have out by early 2003. Furtado says the disc will be musically “more advanced” than her ‘Whoa, Nelly’ debut. As for her getting into the hip hop infused pop, Furtado explained, “I got into hip-hop by chance, just because there were no other kids making music in the city. And that’s how I fell into it. And whatever you can find, you gotta pursue.”
