Bill White of the Seattle Times reviewed Nelly Furtado’s show at the Paramount Theatre Wednesday night giving it great marks aside from “an overloud and distorted bass and drum sound.” White said, “Although her repartee with the audience was limited to the typical ‘Hello Seattle’ cries, the songs established a rapport with her fans that was beyond words. Her music is fun, but also darkly cathartic. In the casual honesty of a self-affirmation that knows no false modesty, she imparts a joyous feeling of self-worth to a struggling new generation.” Read more.
