Dan Aquilante of the New York Post was on hand at Nelly Furtado’s concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Monday and left much more impressed than with her previous show in the Big Apple. Aquilante said, “Whether that little gramophone statuette [Grammy Award] made the big difference or it was just a matter of time, at the Hammer the petite singer nailed every song.” He added, “This was the kind of show where the actual performance – playful but polished – actually lived up to the hype.”
