Nelly Furtado was a big winner at Wednesday night’s Grammy awards in Los Angeles. Furtado won in the category of best female pop vocal performance and was presented the award by Natalie Cole, Dave Koz and Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs. Furtado told the crowd at the Staples Center: “Wooo! Cool. Highly unexpected. Wow, so many people to thank. Mom and dad, you make me who I am. Dreamworks Records for recognizing artistic integrity above all things always. I appreciate you for that so much. My manager Chris Smith. This is our dream together. That’s for damned sure. Look, we got a Grammy. Track and Field, you guys are the bomb. Gerald and Brian. Brad for help us produce the track. I had fun writing it so, wooo!”
