Nelly Furtado Not Trying For The Same Thing On New Album

MuchMusic spoke with Nelly Furtado about what she plans for her follow-up album to her ‘Whoa, Nelly!’ debut. Furtado said, “I don’t want my next album to be better than my last one, I want it to be the best I can do for this time in my life. I like to surprise people once in awhile. That’s kind of my method of keeping my fans on their toes, kind of trying not to always come with the same image or the same thing or the same sound.”
