The Sun reports Nelson Mandela has asked to meet Atomic Kitten when their rearranged dates in South Africa take place. Mandela enjoyed the trio’s performance at Freedom Day in London in 2001. The girls were due to tour South Africa but had to postpone because of illness. “The girls were told Nelson Mandela would love to watch one of their gigs,” a source for the group said. “They have taken it as a huge compliment.”
