The New York Daily News profiled the latest batch of female pop stars including Leslie Mills, Fefe Dobson, Katy Rose, Maria, Christina Milian, Joss Stone, Tiffany Villarreal, and Tina Ann. Dobson says she turned to the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain for inspiration when prepping her self titled debut. “When I was recording,” recalls Dobson, “I’d look at Kurt Cobain’s poster on the wall and it felt like he was telling me, ‘You can do it!’”

Madfan at it again, trying to label other artists Queen of Flop just to make himself feel better about the crappy careers of his own idols , Celine “French for C**t” Dion and Mandy “future food stamp recipient” Moore. Shut your face Madfan.
The only two I’m familiar with are Christina Milian (she’s not really “new”) and Fefe Dobson. I’ve heard some of Fefe’s song and she’s really unique…very different style than anything out right now, I think.
Milian is a cutie. She’s beautiful!
Am I the only one who thinks there’s something wrong with looking to a guy who shot himself, and hearing him say “you can do it.” ?

ANYWAY…I’ve heard of Christina Milian,and I heard that one song of hers called “AM to PM”,which was ok,but she should really be a model instead ’cause she is BEAUTIFUL!I’m actually glad there’s a new batch of female pop stars,I’m so sick of people constantly talking about the same ones!
