‘Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica’ Previewed

Entertainment Weekly caught up with Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees and his wife Jessica Simpson to talk about their new reality series ‘Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica’, premiering August 4th on MTV. While it will be a sitcom-style broadcast, Nick admits, “We can’t try to be the Osbournes.” Jessica is frank about why the couple signed up for the show. “It’s good for record sales,” she admits. But does the squeaky-clean singer worrying about swearing on TV? “If a cussword flies out, a cussword flies out,” Simpson said.
