Nick And Jess Win Christmas Installment Of Variety Show

Strong ratings for Jessica Simpson and 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey’s first prime-time variety show special have led to ABC ordering a Christmas installment built around the married couple. The audience for the special, 11.4 million viewers, was larger than the regular telecasts of ‘Alias’, which have averaged 8.1 million viewers in the 9 p.m. slot on Sundays.
