Nick And Jessica Kept Separated At ‘Tonight Show’ Visit

In Touch magazine reports that when Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey appeared on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’, the couple arrived in separate cars and had separate dressing rooms. A source said Jessica “looked angry for some reason” and later was heard snapping to her assistant CaCee Cobb, “CaCee, shut the door!” A source familiar with the NBC set said, “Couples almost always arrive together, and they always use the same dressing room.” Lachey visited Simpson’s dressing room moments before they went on stage insisting to his wife that “nothing went on” after reports he was flirting with two women in Nashville. The 98 Degrees singer begged, “We have to go out in 10 minutes. Smile for me.”
