Nick And Jessica Split Announcement Was Delayed
David Letterman joked during his Late Show monologue on Monday night, “Let me ask you a question. Is it too soon to be hitting on Jessica Simpson? … It was Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, they split up. They were going to make the announcement much earlier, but they had to wait until Jessica learned how to spell irreconcilable. … The big showbusiness breakups are always very, very sad.
