TMZ.com says of Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson’s ongoing divorce proceedings: “Nick has the option of asking for spousal support. Since Jessica made considerably more than him during their marriage, he’d probably be entitled to a big, monthly chunk of change. If Jessica wants to avoid a trial and avoid paying support, she had better be generous when it comes to dividing up their marital assets.”
