Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter called Q100 in Atlanta and said his father is suffering colon “problems”. He was in the hospital for two days, and that he is hopefully gonna be back soon. Nick confirmed he is not dating Britney Spears and has only met her twice. Nick says that the Backstreet Boys will not record until mid-2003 to give him time to do his solo thing. He also hopes that his *NSYNC rival Justin Timberlake is successful in his solo efforts.
