Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter took part in a Q&A with Us Weekly, where he again commented on the future of the boy band and what’s up with Britney Spears. “I want to position myself as a true artist; if I’m going to take the fall, it’ll be my fall. But I’d like to get back in the studio with Backstreet when they’re ready. I love all those guys.” As for Spears. “I’ve known her for a long time. She’s a cool girl, but I don’t have anything going on with her.” Instead, he says, “I’m very happy being single. If I come across someone who’s strong, can really handle what I do and does something for my heart and mind, then I’ll be down.”
