Gary Graff of the Cleveland Plain Dealer caught up with Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter who admits he didn’t want to abandon pop-style melodies on ‘Now or Never’ so he wouldn’t alienate his core fan base. “I knew I couldn’t go too far forward or go too crazy because a lot of people out there know me as me, with [the Backstreet Boys],” he says. “I had to mix them together and do a little bit of what I do now and what I’ve done. This is not gonna be easy – I’ll tell you that right now.”
